So if you’ve been around the site lately you might have noticed we havent been updating as much. Rightfully so, we’ve been hiding. No thats not true. We have been scouring the intergalactic parameter for the freshest bacon to offer up to your breakfast ears. We have some exciting new releases coming up soon plus a very special single from some Israeli kids who know how to set shit straight!

You may notice some changes going on with the site…Please stay calm. We dont want to rattle your cage…however to make things a bit smoother on the site we are having to shuffle things around a bit. And besides its always a good to remind everyone what we’ve got going on.

We’ve adopted a new Animal! Fierce Animal Recordings welcomes Chris DiStefano to our Team!
Chris Di Stefano AkA Di BeatMaker was born on March 29th 1981 in the city of Toronto Canada. In 2004 Chris decided it was time to take his place in the music scene and began his Dj career. As well as frequenting various radio shows, he has also been spotted playing Harnomy Lounge, Tokia, Studio 369 (NVD Days) and numerous underground afterparties. In 2008 wanting more then just Djing, Chris began to hone in on his production skills. Shorty within 1 year Chris had signed albums by Bonzai Basiks (UK), Melonsound (Denmark), Lad Records (Portugal), Intelligent God Records (Italy), Incense Records (Spain) and in the USA, San Francsico imprint Fierce Animal Recordings, along with remixs for other labels and well respected Producers. 2010 was a huge year for Di Stefano. With Releases out and more in the pipeline, the future looks bright for this young Canadian Deep Tech Mastermind!

22.Oct.2010 Fierce Animal Recordings Newest Addition! Brian Knarfield
Yup! We’ve added another animal to our line up of fierce animal artist! Brian Knarfield is making huge waves in the producer world and keeping his dj schedule full of gigs throughout the bay area here in California. He’s got a shiny new page and everything! Check it out here – BRIANS ANIMAL HOME – Brian is set to have a release out for fierce animals on January 15th 2011 and I’m sure he’ll pop up on a remix or two sometime here soon! Here’s a short intro -
Neil Goodhue aka Brian Knarfield was first introduced to electronic music at an early age. Fascinated by the music’s creative effect on his visual art, Knarfield started sequencing an inner rhythm, which lead his artistic focus into the realm of invisible design.
2009 saw the young techno missionary work closely with Rodrigo Quinonez and Eric Fichtl to help Bring Minimal to Berkeley California in the form of the SONUS Collective. A resident at the Crews bi-weekly SONUS parties, Knarfield has opened nights for artists such as
C.L.A.W.S, Disco LA, Daegon, Craig Kuna and Michael Penman.

Yay for another update here at Fierce Animals. Things are progressing nicely at the moment. We have added a new Pictures page called “Nature Shots”. Going along with the whole animals theme… heres the quickest way there now – NATURE SHOTS
We have a new release set to be out soon! Guidewire’s first release on the label! We’ve got five remixes in store including the Bay Areas own AJ ORB/T.
